Sonali was born and raised in Bombay, India. She has been a professional photographer for 5 years and has obtained a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Hong Kong. She is passionate in sharing stories from some of the poorer and neglected regions of India, as well as showing the more intimate side of locals from other countries.
Ruby is The University of Hong Kong’s Hung Leung Hau Ling Distinguished Fellow in Humanities at the Journalism and Media Studies Centre. She is a noted Chinese-American filmmaker whose work in documentary and dramatic film has earned her an Academy Award for The Blood of Yingzhou District, two further Academy nominations, Emmy nominations, and numerous other international awards including the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Journalism Award, and the Global Health Council Media Award.

Jayson is a journalist who was raised in Hong Kong. He received both his Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature and Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Hong Kong. Jayson works as a freelance producer and video editor in the day, and his journalistic work has appeared on Reuters, South China Morning Post and Time Out Hong Kong.
GASPER DE SOUZA
Gasper has been involved in photo documentary, documentary lms and video journalism projects and produces content for international television news channels, non-government organisations and corporate houses. He has produced features and documentary content for international television channels and production companies, including Euronews Television, McGee Media US and for corporates and charities including Park Hyatt, Child Rescue Charitable Trust and Caritas International.
Gaurav is a photographer and cinematographer based in Mumbai, India. He recently finished a short documentary that was commissioned by the state government of Maharashtra, which is about female empowerment in the rural areas of the state. His interest lies in filming documentaries on social issues in the country.
